Investigating Engineering Instructor Characteristics Associated with English Medium Instruction and Their Influence on Intrinsic Motivation

This study explores how instructors view the current state of English medium instruction (EMI) in terms existence EMI engineering courses, influences instructor motivations, and motivation constructs influence intrinsic to teach courses. Explanatory variables regarding motivations included use Korean language (L1) when teaching teacher self-efficacy, anxiety, perceived student benefits for acquisition attending The demographic (i.e., age, experience, experience living overseas, second-language proficiency) on was also identified. Ultimately, a cross-sectional research design conducted with group 54 professors at South university. Mean score correlation analyses provided an initial data.
